I had a feeling I wasn't going to be the only one. Did you have a lot of freezing temps this winter from where you are from?Happening on passenger side of mine too. Looks the same. Driver side has tape the whole way down.
I live in Florida. Picked the BS up last Friday in South Carolina. It has less than 500 miles on it. Definitely not weather related.I had a feeling I wasn't going to be the only one. Did you have a lot of freezing temps this winter from where you are from?
That’s why they come with a warranty !Either way it seems like other people are not having this issue. It's happening on both my c pillar trims. I'm just wondering if this is something I should take it to the dealer for.
This is the way~~~Good evening. I'd like to take a closer look at what could be causing this issue with your Bronco's side panels. Could you please send over a private message with your VIN and the name/location of your local Ford dealer so I can look into this on my end?
Hello there! I'd like to look into this for you. For assistance, please send over a private message with your VIN and dealership info at your earliest convenience. It's happening on my driver side. Brand new less than 500 miles Badlands. Going to mention it to the dealer when I go to get another piece replaced that's also damaged on arrival. Not going to lie, I love this vehicle, but the craftsmanship is probably some of the poorest I've ever seen. So many panel gaps and uneven things. Not to mention the leather is awful and is already getting creases.
This is an old thread, but I guess it's an old problem. It's happening on my driver side. Brand new less than 500 miles Badlands. It's actually my leather seats. There is a section that is already dried out and about to crack. I understand I need to take care of it with leather cleaner, but I barely even drove this thing yet. Definitely a flawThis is an old thread, but I guess it's an old problem.
Mine was just like this new off the lot. I parked it out on a hot day and then leaned on the panel for two minutes. Adhesive kicked in. Yeah, it's basically taped together. There's solid (really, really solid) pillars of steel behind it. The car is safe despite these craftsmanship issues.
I probably could have also warrantied it, but literally 2 minutes of my time was much better than scheduling an appointment 42 days later and dropping it off for a day, catching a ride back home and then picking it up that evening with either "could not replicate problem" or "parts need to be ordered, holding vehicle for 72 days waiting for part".
What are you doing to the leather, anything? I don't have any issues like that, but I still don't think the "upgraded leather steering wheel" is actually leather. It just isn't as nice as the other vehicles we own with leather wheels. Feels very vinyl-like. But I did add a pad to the front seats just because I don't trust rain and suede to play nice. Don't treat the suede parts like leather either. It will pill up.
