That would be a deal breaker for me as I will not own a vehicle without a hitch. I understand you can add a hitch later but if they are removing it from a build it probably means they can't get it.

It took a little over a month for my hitch to come in.

Someone over on a FB group bought the cable and is going to replace it himself. Hopefully he updates. I'm thinking of going this route.

Fords come with extra parts so it's very common to just see parts laying under your car. That's what the dealer is going to tell you.

My cut bumper wasn't done all that great from the dealer. I'm a picky person and it doesnt bother me one bit. You will forget about it in 3 minutes top. Dispite the way they looks in photos it's a lot less noticable in real life

I agree with you. I'm almost at the point of wanting to ask at my next oil change that if I buy the revised cable if they would put it in just to humor me.

I can't see them fitting. You can actually get 2 bikes in there? I'm also not a fan of having to take the front wheel off every time too.

Just get an aftermarket pad and put it on there. The oem one is only a 5 watt charger anyway.

Let me know how that turns out if you do. I played my video for the service guy today. He seemed way nicer than the last service guy I talked too. Hopefully the hitch doesn't take long to get installed so they have time to look into it today. I'll let you know how it goes.
