Biggest and probably only gripe with this vehicle is it handling in wind at highway speeds. In my Tundra I always felt safe. This vehicle had me nervous all day.

30+ mph winds this weekend here in Boise, and I definitely notice a difference going from a sleek little Audi A3, but I never felt unsafe. That being said I didn't drive on the freeway during these high winds.

Driving between Boise and Mountain Home a few years ago was quite an experience. I hadn't experienced wind like that since I left West Texas.

I haven't been scared in high winds yet, has felt solid to me. My second car was a '95 Suzuki Sidekick and I had a cargo box on top all the time. Now, THAT was scary on a windy day, so the Sport doesn't even compare.

Ferguson, Get rid of those continentals.
I had some wind issues at several different tire pressures. I hated the unpredictability of the wind gusts.
On went my trusted Yokohama Geolandars, 235’s up just a tad from the stock 225’s on my base model. The slightly larger tire responded best to 32 psi cold.
They helped with gusty winds big time.
But remember, you bought a small boxy SUV. A very good small body SUV but still..

I drive a POS Prius C for work that handles wind about as well as my 9 lb dog would handle a snow sled so I'm not super worried about the BSBL but I did put 245 at3 4s on it. So far no problems and it's been pretty gusty lately
