21 Outback just did this yesterday and today when getting on highway and going up hill for 1st 10 minutes then temp goes back down. Then I can drive normally. Wierd. Is it a shutter issue???

Hagerstown Ford told me they can't order part. Got letter from Ford saying parts were available. Getting pretty pissed off.

The only thing I don't like about this vehicle is its handling in high wind. And if it's pouring rain and windy it downright dangerous.

Put electrical tape over the two molded pieces of plastic on side view mirror and the rattle has stopped. Like I said I could have sworn it was interior but it wasn't. Searching for permanent fix now.

Thought mine was interior on the passenger side for a month. Then I caught the peices of the side view mirror molding rattling against each other. Haven't decided on adhesive or black tape to fix. But that was the source of mine.

Biggest and probably only gripe with this vehicle is it handling in wind at highway speeds. In my Tundra I always felt safe. This vehicle had me nervous all day.

Have some on my OB but really only notice it when looking in side view mirrors.

Those touch less car washes shoot high pressure water at angles that the seals in vehicles weren't desidesigned handle.
