You contact AT&T and open an account and pay the monthly fee if you want to continue with it. You really don't need it unless you want to use your vehicle as a WiFi hotspot. I have it in my Bronco Sport (which I transfered over from my Escape) but not in my Maverick.

When I originally got the in car WifI it was back in 2018 when I got my 2019 Escape and it was only $15 a month then. Price stayed the same when I transferred it over to my Bronco Sport. Looks like AT&Thief raised their prices also.

What did you use it for when you had the free trial? That’s what it really comes down to. If your usage was limited you may want to check with your current cellular provider to find out if you have hotspot features on your plan that might fit your needs and may already have it included. I know on my plan each phone has 40gb each to give service to any WiFi tablets or laptops etc.

They have an option to purchase a year for $200, which works out to be under $17 per month.

Why ? Would anyone want it ? I don’t live out of my Car.
I use my phone through Sync on my LTE 4g and can surf or stream if need be.

I pay for it so my 3 year old will stay slightly more quiet in the car. YouTube is a fascinating place when you’re 3 years old and you have full access to any jojo siwa music video you want.

From what I read the other day your Fordpass app will still work in starting your Bronco. Ford pays for that service when the WIFI trial runs out. You wont be able to surf with your Bronco and load videos and such but at least your app will start unlock and lock the Bronco.
