I don't know for sure bc I didn't receive one. Just a "You can't drive yours off the lot until the recall is fixed and yours has tire rot" text after I bought her.
She's since gone into deep sleep/dead battery mode.

The sports with electric power brake boosters are not part of recall. Only the ones with vacuum power brake boosters are affected by the recall.

Again, you're correct Cuda. I love you and your Intel but it doesn't stop the fact that our babies are lot rotting while 40k+ other BS's are still able to be driven SAFELY (Fords words) bc of the same recall (21C31) and ours are ROTTING on lots close to us.

Maybe a liability concern?! If Ford released those "defective" Sport to you, and the brakes fail... somebody seriously hurt... Ford would be responsible.

Ford can't take back what's already out of the barn doors.

Ford supposedly won't release certain Bronco Sports from their lots due to the "recalled brakes" issued on EVERY SINGLE BS manufactured last year (along with 60k Ford Escapes dealing with the same exact recall issue).
Ford wasn't legally* allowed by Federal Law to sell a brand new vehicle with an open recall.
But they did.
Hence all of the kerbobble, DeJ64. ?

I tagged the Ford Motor Company account in a post about this weeks ago and they ignored it.

Anyways I feel for you guys, mine was built in June so by the time I get it, it will be over a year old.

You know what’s ridiculous about all this? It’s perfectly legal for dealerships to sell USED cars with open recalls.

Ford can't help you.

"Under 49 U.S.C. § 30112(a), it is illegal for anyone, including a manufacturer, distributor, dealer, or retailer to sell an item of equipment or vehicle that fails to comply with all applicable Federal motor vehicle safety standards."

Did anyone ever figure out how to identify which booster they may have?
