Hi all just ordered a BS Badlands with all options for $300 over msrp but dealer is saying up to 6 months because it’s a Badlands….could it be?

Hard to say really. Ordered BL +PP +Tow +360+ (and don’t forget the steelies) on 11/6 & nothing since. My sales guy just checked the other day too & I’m one of 2 orders he’s waiting on to get a scheduled date. Any one of those adders might have a chip in it holding up the process. Who knows. But for me I usually have my cars for a decade, current one being the exception, so it’s a small wait over the long term.
Who knows these days. I ordered 10/31, confirmed 11/1, scheduled 11/18, 1/24 build week pushed out to 1/31. I was told ~4 months.

My badlands (360+, premium, no tow or moon roof) order was confirmed 9/29, picked it up today…
Our dealer is now saying 6 months from order to delivery for the BS, regardless of trim level. That’s up from the 4 months they told us when we ordered back in September. Picked ours up yesterday, took about 4.5 months.
Mine took just over 90 days from order to delivery, but what happened in the past is completely irrelevant to how long future orders will take.

I ordered my Badlands at MSRP on 30 Dec. I'm expecting it to take about 6 months but things could speed up a bit in 2022 once the world gets mostly over omnicron.
My BL was one week short of 7 months. February-September of last year. That said, I just saw a report on the news that the chip shortage is worse now than it was the middle of last year. One manufacturer reported only a five day supply on hand.
While my salesman didn't give a timeline, he said Badlands orders are taking longer from what he's heard through the grapevine. I placed my order in early December but no build date yet.
For what it's worth, mine took 4 months 11 days from order submission to delivery. But I also got my order in on the first day the 22 model opened and mine was one of the early units off the line. My experience is likely to be atypical. because...
