Hello all! new guy here :)

I been reading a ton here trying to understand the talk and ordering stuff that I been seeing. I think I got the jist of it but I am not to sure and want to ask the Pro's.

Order my Big Bend in Oct. 11th and dealer told me I may get it by end of Dec or sometime in Jan. Told me to give them a shout back and they will have a VIN for me... The only thing I changed was getting the 18" Rims on it. I don't get why the Badlands don't have an 18" Wheel Option....Anyways..

I got all that and this was the first thing they sent me a month later.....

Ford Bronco Sport Ok I'm just going to ask on my Order.. 1640726324279

I wanted to start tracking but they didn't give me an order number, all I had was the VIN...SO I contacted them again and got this...

Ford Bronco Sport Ok I'm just going to ask on my Order.. 1640726497802

Question: The Scheduled to Week change from Dec. 13th to Jan. 31 mean, or potentially, the week it would start to be built?

Also, what is the status date and time? I assume that is when the dealership got their reports?

Ford Tracker doesn't show anything but Order Confirmed and your Tracker just tells me Can't Retrieve This VIN

Thank You for any insight!!

Trackers do not show the Build Week. The Build Week is always a monday and you usually get In Production status and window sticker week before. Usually the week before it will get a Build Date a specific date withing that week when it will be built. Build Date wont show up on tracker after it is built.

Ok..I get and understand what you said here...but what does the "Schedule to Week (Week of Dec 13 2021)" mean that the dealer sent me here? Then changed to Jan. 31th. Does that mean anything to me or something I should just ignore?

If MY 22 BS production had started on time, Nov 1, your probably would have been built the week of Dec 13. However, production didn't start until Nov 12. My OB/OB was originally set for production the week of Nov 8, but didn't get built until Dec 7. There has been some talk on the forum that there was a batch of bad chips at the end of Nov, first part of Dec that stalled production again. So, this may explain why your production date changed.

Ok, so my assumption was correct as it was more or less a date when the Truck will start production. But for whatever the reasons, Chips, Brake situations...It now got pushed the end of Jan. now.

So am I correct to say the "Scheduled to Week" is more or less a production week of that Model...but not set in stone due to any issues arise?

What you need to know is the timeline they gave you doesn't mean a thing. They can and have paused production when they feel like it. If you are on a schedule, must have by a date, you may want to try and locate what you want.

If your 12/13 date changed to 1/31, I don’t even want to know what my 1/24 date has been moved to

scheduled to week means the production week that your BS is currently scheduled to be built in.

This is in no way set in stone and can change at any time.

Until it is built anything can delay it.

Its Fords best estimate as to when they plan to build it. If parts shortages appear the Build Week may get pushed out again. Some times the Build Week gets pulled back to earlier date. With global supply chain issues Ford often struggles to keep the planned Build Weeks.

I ordered way back 9/10 and mine has been “in preduction” as the primary status and “produced” as the secondary status with all ECUs up as of 12/10 and nothing since then. No built. No shipping. No disposition showing why it has not completed. Other orders after me have been built and shipped. I would rather have a production week slide than what I am sitting in which is a purgatory lot.

Yes it looks like, as of right now, your build week is 1/31/22. And depending on any other shortages, mishaps, or recalls could slide back further. As mentioned earlier, the 2022 model year didn’t get off to a good start, and has had multiple delays since. Everybody has had their build week pushed back. It sucks, but that’s the way it is right now.

If the 1/31 date holds, approximately 5’ish days prior your window sticker will show up on Ford’s tracker and may or may not be accompanied by the “In Production” email (mine was). Once the sticker shows up you will know for sure that it’s going into production the following week.

The waiting can drive you nuts but participating on this forum has helped me pass the time. I’ve learned a lot of cool stuff in the couple months I’ve been here. And know that EVERYONE here wishes you a speedy build and delivery. Just about everyone on here has gone though or is going through what you are. And remember it could always be worse, at least you aren’t one of the June builds, those poor people should get their BS’s for free.

Ok...Yup that what I was wondering is all..Just an Estimate Time if things are going as plan.

Nope, I don't need a set date.. Though the sooner the better...My Escape is pass due inspection and I am not putting money into it to get it fix to get it to pass!! That $$$ is going towards the Bronco.. lol...

I tried to locate what I wanted (Big Bend, Carb Gray, 18" Wheels with no other options) and no one had anything, 2021 at the time, in a 500 mileage range. This is why the 2022 was Order.. Dealer gave it to me at Invoice, with no Down Payment.

Thank you all that responded :)
