Now that my sport is on the train its time to find out what might be wrong with it before it arrives. I will be taking pictures of the engine, tires, panels, roof, hood, lift gate and all inside parts before I sign anything. Figure I should have a list of what might be wrong so I can be sure to check it and make the dealer acknowledge the problem before they say I did it. Pieced together a list from what I have read about over the past year or so.

1: Engine Cover
2: Tire damage from transport
3: Paint issues near headlights
4: Panel dents from factory incompetence
5: Missing skid plate screws
6: Wrong tire pressure
7: Scratches from improper cleaning

Since this is a 22 maybe all those problems have been addressed since the last model year. If anyone has anything else serious and or just annoying they noticed on their own bronco sport please let me know so I can check for that too. Thanks in advance.

Well mine is a badlands. They wouldn't dare sell me a badlands without and engine cover. If they try they will hear about it.
It was removed from production in March, so unless your Badlands was built with a flux capacitor... They will listen to your complaint and send you a form letter letting you know it's not included. So you can start drafting it.

2.0 still comes with engine cover it the 1.5 they stopped putting them on.

Take it for a good test drive before you sign make sure its a good runner. Look at roof too by opening door and stepping up so you can see up there.

Badlands 2.0 still comes with covers. It was other trims where it was discontinued

Aside from the good advice already offered...
Make sure everything you ordered is there. The stuff that is loose parts frequently gets missed, for mats for example. Anything that is a DIO (dealer installed option) like mud flaps, bumper protector, flares, bug deflector, roof rack crossbars, etc.
The manual. Both keys. Front license plate bracket if you need it and even if you don't, you may move.
Check the function of everything you can. Heated seats, AC, vents, wipers and washers. The windows and doors, the hatch and glass, etc. Easier to get fixed before you take delivery as they have an incentive to get it done now.
Have the sales person help you hook up your phone and get you set up with Fordpass so you'll get your points quick.

Make sure to get a "Due Bill" for any issues or promises the dealer says they will take care of if any. Then you will have documentation, not a he said or she said agreement.

If you have moonroof open close shade and open close moonroof. Drive both on back roads and on a highway.

Some people complain about the way the seat back rubber mats go onto the fold-down part of the cargo area. I guess check that all the snaps go on.

Is yours a Desert Edition? I'd get the battery load tested for fun and giggles.

Seen some people complain that the rear wiper only makes a 90-100 degree arc. Mine doesn't go 180, but it's probably 170.

Did yours come with mats and roof racks? Make sure they've loaded them in.

And get 2 keys and the card with the master door code on it, should be with the owner guide.

Than obviously there be no need to look for it. Is there actually people missing engine covers with Badlands or just people complaining they didn't get it. It's all very confusing for someone who owned before they changed the item.

then obviously it can be removed cause Ford doesn't have missing engine covers... Just people complaining that they should be there. Got it... But while you take delivery, and you are so worried about an engine cover that isn't missing cause people complain who don't get them. Finance guy is getting the "paperwork" together. That's the only thing that matters is making sure they dont screw you over!
