If anything why wouldn't you just leave the "Bronco" make the genpop jealous?....Those are bragging rights. The "Sport" is very generic.
Nah, don't wear advertising t-shirts either. Honestly one thing I admire about my Raptor is the understated badging, I didn't rush out and add the gaudy 6.2L badge either.
They can get jealous eating my dust on the trails.

What about upbadging? Someone on facebook wanted to add FE style stripes to their base model and got flamed by the upbadging police over there. Upbadging police said it would be shameful to add FE stripes to non-FE. Then thread was taken down.

fyi Vortex Signs now makes their lettering stickers in cactus grey. If I don't like the grey-on-grey look, I'll remove 'Bronco Sport' altogether.

Like @Fossil I prefer an understated look.

So you completely debadged you 70K Raptor? Each to his own. Dont mind bragging I have a bronco, especially when I pull up to a Subaru or Toyota LOL. That way they know exactly what car they got whooped by a so they can start crying the next time they see me hahahaha.

I get it...but you buy it, you do what you want...who the hell cares? it's not as if the First Edition is some million dollar one off. If anything it's a bit of a hodge podge of parts from the various trim levels. I agree and have even stated it is likely going to have some value to collectors down the road...but when it comes to that...there will be no mistaking one for a base with a sticker. They go so far as to check VINS, matching parts etc...
I have always wanted to restore a 72 nova, another of my earlier treasures. I see a lot of them done up, and restored, modified. As soon as I see 'clone' or tribute...I have zero interest. I think sometimes the PC police go way to far. Would I want to put outer banks badges on my bronco sport? NO...would I remove 'sport' from the rear gate? nope...I think it looks clean, but it's not pretending to be a Bronco. If someone couldn't tell the difference the discussion isn't much to begin with.

yeah not something I would do, to each their own too. No different than blacking out a ford badge, attaching an old school chrome or blacked chrome bronco fender emblem, etc. It's just personal touches. I've considered a few options and for now, I'm keeping it simple. I don't care what anyone else does to theirs...it's not my money and not my Bronco.

If someone wants to put FE stripes on a Base who cares its their car they get to do what they want. But no upbadge police flamed insulted the guy. The post got taken down guy probably left the group over it. Upbadge police are on the lookout over there watch out.

Sad thing is I see so many people spending $$ to upbadge their broncos that they could have saved the $$ and just bought the higher model.

or...be happy with what you purchased. I don't see a distinct advantage in any trim level. Perhaps some comfort or performance interests, but in the end, I'd say they are all capable. I bought up to the badlands as all the dealers suggested the 2.0 was worth the extra and would hold a better resale later if I chose to swap out. It wasn't significant enough as you stated to say no...so I did. I would have been equally thrilled in a Big Bend. I don't care for the leather etc of the outer banks, I don't need a sun/moon roof. I didn't want the bare bones base model, my wife insisted I didn't settle over a few bucks. That's about all the thought I put into it.

No, I only removed the tail gate Raptor on my $45,000 Raptor at the time people were stealing Rap tail gates. The only other label is the grill and the SVT side vents. When I pull up next to a Chevy or Dodge they know whats next to them. The Rap and the BS are unique in their own right and don't need badges or a banner. I don't feel the need to brag or have others jealously to validate me. Never had much use for bragging but to each his own. I like the clean look., as simple as that.

Cool! I don't need to validate myself either- Trust me. It not validation- it is pleasure to be proud of what you drive, not a fan of playing games to make others guess. I lay it right out there. Huge difference. I am sure your truck looks good to many.
