We have enjoyed our 2021 BS BB, but life is changing with grandbaby #2 arriving. One car seat was not bad, it will be impossible for us to take two grandbabies with the Chicco car seats we have, leaving no comfortable passenger and driver space up front.
Time to let our BS go and move on to a larger, more spacious suv. Have our eyes on a used Toyota Highlander with a premium package.
This forum has been a wealth of information and inspiration. It has helped us several times with our BS. Farewell and enjoy your rides!

As an owner of a 2023 Highlander XLE AWD (and ToyotaNation forum member), I think I would look into a Hybrid version of a 4th gen Highlander. The Hybrids use a proven eCVT transmission, while the 8-speed automatics used in the non-hybrids seem to be having some issues with developing a whine upon acceleration. Cheers!

Thanks for your advice! We assumed their V6 was bombproof!

Their 3.5L V6 is a good engine. We had a 2008 Avalon with basically the same engine and it has over 300k on it and still going! The UA80 (8-speed auto) trans has had whining issues. 2022 was the last year for the V6 in Highlanders. No issues with my 2023 so far, but only 16k miles. Cheers!

Had my eye on a 26 F150 for a while, dealer offers $5k over book for my 21 BB so I pulled the trigger and will be saying good by in a couple of months. Production (I had to order, no Reg cab, short box V8 4x4s to be had) is slated for 19-Jan. It [should] be delivered at the end of March. Already considering the performance exhaust and tune through Ford which will not impact the factory warrantee. I'm stoked to say the least!

I thought You were also going with the Supercharger? :) I had a bunch of F-150's before the BSBB I had and the Maverick I have now.The Velocity Blue 2019 F-150 Crew Cab 4X4 I had with the 3.5 Eco Boost and 3.55 gears that was 375 Horsepower and 470 lb ft. of Torque ran a [email protected] mph in the 1/4 mile bone stock on 93 octane gas. The 2021 F-150 4X4 Crew Cab I had also with 3.55 Gears and the 3.5 Eco Boost that was 400 Horsepower and 500 lb.ft of Torque I never got to the track but some magazines had them running 13.90's in the 1/4 mile bone stock.

The 2021 seemed like it ran stronger than the 2019 but it should have with more Horsepower and Torque!!

The 3.5L V6 is an awesome motor. It’s what is in my 2013 ES350. I’ve been keeping my eye out for a 22 RX350 as a replacement for the ES if I can find one out west with low miles. I’m sure I will some day. Lots of them in Phoenix being driven by little old ladies only to church On Sundays.

At $14k for the Whipple package, the cost/benefit just isn't there for me, sub $600 for a tune I can. At 68, this is most likely the last vehicle I plan on buying so it will have everything I want, nothing I do not

Also (from the research I did so far), Ford Racing/Performance is the only company putting out a dual outlet (side exit) cat-back direct fit (no mods) system for the short wheelbase that is a direct fit I can do in my driveway, which I thought was really odd. That puppy lists for $1,700!! I've reached out to Flowmaster (as well as JCM for a Peddle Max) to see what they have in the works for the 26's. "Real" AT are also on the list as well. I've has the same peddle Max on my 16 Focus, 18 EcoSport and 21 BB, would be nice if it work on the 26 F150 as well. Best $250 I've ever spent on a mod.

I replaced the stock exhaust on my 22 F150 5.0 with the Tremor cat back system. It looks nice & sounds good. I tilted the tail pipes about 5 degrees to retain the stock rear bumper. You might look into the Lobo exhaust.
