The Diode Dynamic rear led bulbs are so expensive, almost $160 for two sets of mid range bulb after taxes and shipping . Any alternatives that can be suggested? 25 Bronco Sport Outer Banks. Thanks

I bought the lowest level Diode Dynamics bulbs. They're billed as being the same brightness as stock, but my assessment was that the brake lights didn't even come close to being the same brightness. I didn't want anything obnoxiously bright, which is why I thought the OEM brightness would be perfect, but I ended up sending them back. I'm debating buying the mid-level option. They had a big sale on Black Friday, which is when I bought mine, but I agree the standard price is pretty expensive. I did, however, like that they fixed the annoyance that the third brake light lit up a fraction of second quicker than the regular brake lights.

Putco Lumacore are a great option, I have them in my 01 Ranger and 19 Superduty tails. I was a huge Diode Dynamic fan, but their prices have went up substantially. I also like any LED bulb by Philips, Sylvania and ZEVO.

I’m an independent dealer for Diode Dynanics, and I still went the Lasfit route. They’re much brighter than stock, and they claimed error free, which they were.

I am reading as I dig in that some bulbs cause hyper blink, do these avoid that? They are much better priced.....

I’ve been running them since two days after I got the vehicle (May 15, 2025) and have zero issues.

Sylvania 3157R ZEVO: Red LED Mini Bulb are $28 at Advanced Auto, 921s the same $28, 7440s I believe I paid $18. These are all sold in pairs. I have had them in my 21BB since 2022, no issues other than they flash faster on the dash which I don't see as a problem. Actually, a great reminder if left on by mistake! Cheers!

Forscan is such an easy option, I don't know why more don't utilize it. The cheap Amazon brands such as Lasfit, Sealight, etc are junk in my opinion. No way I am skimping on cheap chinese bulbs in my 2023 vehicle.....For the record, Morimoto is trash as well.....just my opinion after 15 years of buying and trying led bulbs.

Seems to be the case for a lot of folks on here. Most put inline resistors or what have you which IMHO, defeats one of the bennies of LEDs, reduced power consumption

I went with your recommendation on Lasfit and ordered the set of both brake and backup LED bulbs. Should have some time next week. Will review once installed.

Just remember, LEDs are polarity specific. So if they don’t light up at first, rotate the bulb 180°. 😊
