I have a 2024 BB with the 1.5T I bought used from Avis.. I just did my first oil change.(It's obvious oil changes have been done.) I just don't care for or trust the plastic oil pan and drain plug. I tried a Ronin and it would not stay in, so I put a new plastic one in. I just don't trust the Ford cost cutting. Does anyone make an aftermarket oil pan that I could swap the stock one out with? Thanks

Now that they have killed this which in my opinion is a remarkable engine, I do not think there will be much support from the aftermarket going forward for the lil dragon :-(

I had a Mustang II, in 1974. At least it was the fastback lift hatch model. Yeah, I’m that old too! ?
Mine was a 78 Orange notch. Had a 4 cyl/4 speed, I swapped in a warmed over small block & FMX. When I was done. I thought I did something wrong bc the driveline sat 2.5 inches to the passenger side. No issues but I was nervous until I found a factory V8 (Cobra) unit, which was the same way. The weak link was the 7.5 rear. With a TON of fabing and farting around, managed to get an 8.8 locker with 373s tucked underneath. Managed a best of 12.56/107 on street tires at Norwalk back in 81, a respectable street car back in the day

Sounds like alotta work went into yours, but I’ll bet it was alotta fun, too. Mine was that medium metallic blue on blue, 4cyl auto, just a 2nd car for the Mrs. Now she & that Mustang are long gone. Was a cool car that served its purpose back in the day. Pretty rare to see ā€˜em nowadays.

Oh yeah. 1974 vintage. Bought it brand new, first year of production.
