Hey everyone, looking for some advice here.

I called my local dealer a few times to address the TSB with the horrible groaning noise my BS makes when reversing and braking. They told me several times Ford doesn't have the parts, and they're expected in some time next year.

This week I called because I realized I had the dreaded coolant leak so many of us have had. I asked about the parts for the brakes and they told me they're not in, but now I'm out of warranty so I'll have to pay for it out of pocket.

Does that sound right? How is it my fault that the part they need has been on back order? Any advice?

If your servicing dealer has on record that you have attempted however many times to have TSB-24-2326 performed before your warranty expired, it should be covered, otherwise it will be on your dime.

You could have the service manager contact Ford and ask for a goodwill gesture, you may get lucky.

Is there a way to get copies of the full TSBs anywhere?

Honestly, the hassle isn't worth it. Throw a set of ceramic shoes on the rear and never look back.

I fought the noise, went through all of the so called Dealer fixes and gave up. Changed the shoes, 8,000 miles+ later, still not a peep. 8-5 o

I think the pads were about $35 at OReillys. Took me less than an hour to install. I coated all the mating surfaces and slider pins with never seize for added protection.

Does this really work. I am sick and tired of this noise.
I replaced the TSB "repair" parts after they started making noise again with Powerstop Z23 pads. See the other thread here: https://www.broncosportforum.com/forum/threads/powerstop-brakes.10851/#post-189941

The noise has not returned. It is getting cooler where I am (DC area) so we'll see if it returns. The Z23 pads are smoother and brake better than OEM... plus less dust has been nice.
