+1 for road noise question - I am considering these, but this is one of my research items.
With that kind of tread, they look like you could hear them coming from a mile away. Just saying.

You WILL... take a hit on MPG... I experienced about a 2 to 3 mpg reduction from the stock Pirellis my BL came with and as for noise... hahaha that's what I paid for...lol.

So yes you will hear that distinct sound that a 4x4 is in the house...heheheh

Remember one chooses this for the function and performance it offers off road, but still allows some semblance of civility on the asphalt... not the other way around.

: )

The factory tires that I replaced were Falken Wildpeaks and here are my observations:

Gas mileage has been reduced by approximately 1 mpg. I used to drive around getting 24.6 and now I’m observing 23+

Road noise on day #1 was somewhat noticeable, but within a day or two it wasn’t even a factor. These are NOT mud tires and they are NOT loud, they don’t distract from conversations, music, or just driving in silence. These are however a LT (light truck) tire and are a little stiffer. I’m running them at 30psi cold (33-34 when driving) and that seems to be perfect. I’ve owned vehicles with mud tires and I’ve owned jeeps; this is NOT the same. Those vehicles were flat out annoying.

In summary; I thought the factory bronco sport was as smooth and quiet as a Toyota Camry so if that is what you are looking for, just stick with the stock set-up. I’ve run the BFG’s on all of my vehicles (jeeps, pickups, explorer, expedition, etc) and love them.

I’m leaving tomorrow morning for Moab (Bronco Off-Rodeo) so I’ll report back after I put a few thousand miles on them.

we put about 75,000 km on our k02 before we changed em.
great tire - legit.
good wear, zero punctures, and crawled thru anything.
but, as they wear down you will hear them. they loud past 60% wear mark. like very loud.
i would have put another set on because they are such a great tire but i just wanted to try something different.
nice choice !!!
