Got under the car to take the skid plate off for the fellas at the dealer Friday and I happen to see some wetness. Im on my third water pump already. Transmission. Looks like engine oil and dont know if that hole is suppose to be there i dont remember. Then the shaft. Im kinda tired of this. Never know when something will go wrong because something always has so far. I almost just do not feel safe anymore.

Where is the location of these pictures? If you want to check the water pump, look at the actual weep hole.

The photos are from the transmission and the start of the shaft. I know what to look for for the pump. I found the first 2 leaks from. But now I got the trans and the other part leaking something

During my oil changes I noticed the tiniest bit of oil at the transmission to engine area mount as well like your first picture.

I'll be bringing it in tomorrow. I had an appointment Friday for a oil change and trans fluid change. I only got under there to take my skid plate off for them because so far they have been nothing but good to me there so far.

Please update back with what they find! I'm willing to accept a little engine sweat, but if it's a known issue I'll have my dealer investigate as well.

No I'm at 43k I've gone on 3 overlanding trips already and wanted to have it serviced for that reason. Also I wanted to have it done before the warranty was up incase there is a issue they find in the fluid.

The hole appears to be cast so I suspect it is an engineered weep hole. I also expect the dealership will tell you that is an acceptable amount of seepage and it's coming from the weep hole as designed. I suspect they'll say the same about the shaft, normal seepage. Dealerships seem to ascribe to the "if it's not dripping, it's not leaking" theory.

Please let us know what the dealership says.

Yea I kinda remember that hole suppose to be there. But it seemed more oiled on the nut and thread that you see sticking out rather than the hole. I doesn't look like it came out of that hole specifically and nothing on the skid plate. I've been under this vehicle alot maybe 8 times already and this is the first I'm seeing these 2 leaks. But I am always open to people's opinions and thoughts.

Good afternoon, Kyle. Would you please send over a private message with your VIN and dealer info so I can look into this leak concern on my end?

I had an appointment Friday for a oil change and trans fluid change
I'd be willing to bet a significant sum that the techs who changed your fluids made a mess (spills) while doing so and failed to fully clean it up. If it were me I would thoroughly clean the area, remove all evidence of fluid, then drive it for a few days and check again.

I'm sorry I should have made more clear. The appointment is for tomorrow 8/9. I have not had the trans fluid changed yet. As much as I want to believe that someone just made a mess I find it unlikely as when it comes to a straight oil change the skid plate doesn't need to come off and there has never been a oil stain on it.

Did you have the dealership change the oil the last time? Unless you crawl under and check after they work on it, that still remains my guess.
