My wife's Bronco Sport is now about 2 years old and this weekend involved the same things from Meanderthal's initial post. Replaced pads and rotors and installed a lift. When I started it back up I had all the same on-screen warnings, but no codes according to my OBD scanner. The only difference here is that my driver's side rear and passenger's side front were the brakes not working.

Was going nuts wondering how I screwed up what seemed like a fairly easy job that went pretty well.

Glad I found this thread to at least know it happened once before. Guess I'll be reaching out to the dealer tomorrow.

Thanks!

Basic OBD-II scanners do not detect/report brake or seat belt errors. A better or more costly scanner is needed.

Good morning. We would be happy to look into this concern regarding the brake system message. Please send over a private message with your VIN to get started.

Turns out it is just a Ford software feature I did not know about. Have to put the car in maintenance mode, as I now see is described in this thread...

https://www.broncosportforum.com/forum/threads/setting-parking-brake-to-maintenance-mode.4483/

Nothing was wrong with the brake job or the lift, I just didn't ask the car for consent first... lol

Have the car back, and actually had enough Ford Pass Rewards points to more than pay for their time to reset the computer and test drive it.
