Sound sytstem defaults to radio.

My 2023 with the B&O system defaults to radio on startup, and all of the presets on Sirius disappear until you hit each button. Any idea what's going on? I did do a sync update.

I did a search and didn't find anything.

That’s the issue. As stated earlier

Ok great thanks. I should expect it to show itself when I do an upgrade through the settings screen? Or do I need to go get it somewhere else. I ask because I did an update just a few days ago through the settings screen.

Hmmm you might be in the middle of a Sync download over WiFi

I disabled automated updates over WiFi

Instead I go to this link. Ford’s instructions are easy to follow: per the instructions, I download 23188 to a computer and after that follow the instructions to format a USB Device and load 23188 onto the USB Device by following the instructions. The installation takes place in the vehicle by plugging in the USB Device into a port below the 8” Display. I use USB-C because it’s faster. Continue following the instructions until compete.

If you decide to go that route, before installing in the vehicle, do the 2-minute variant of the SYNC Reset twice:

Simultaneously press and hold the seek up (seek forward) and the audio unit power buttons for 2 minutes until Sync boots up.
Repeat a 2nd time.
