Given the amount of throttle you're using, my guess would be a leak somewhere in the intake tract. The turbocharger in your car pressurizes the air going into the cylinders, but before it gets to the cylinders it's routed through the intake system and throttle body. The fact that it gets louder the harder you accelerate also fits. The greater the power demand the greater the boost pressure.

If you're at all mechanically minded, you might check all the clamps on the intake tract to make sure they're all tight. Get a powerful flashlight and an inspection mirror and inspect the intake tubing from the air filter box all the way to the throttle body. If you don't see something obvious you'll have to get your service department involved to track it down.

If it is an intake leak there's no harm in driving it; a bit more air moving around the engine bay won't hurt a thing.

I'd be concerned that if there's an intake leak that is loud enough to create a whistle, it would be unmetered air, and the ECM (or whatever the BS uses for its engine Fuel/air management mapping) would not be able to compensate for that, causing poor performance. The OP did not mention that the engine is running poorly though.

A "whistle" implies (to me) a very small leak. If there's enough pressure in the intake to generate a whistle then there's plenty of air going through the throttle body to the cylinders.

I agree. Since there is no mention of poor performance (his vids indicate some fun "spirited" driving!), it looks to be small in nature (leak).

I don't believe the 1.5L powered cars are equipped with Engine Sound Enhancement.
On pages 233-235 of the Owner's Manual, Ford specifies that engine sound "is enhanced" in Sport and Sand mode for all trims. It denotes engine sound enhancements specifically for GOAT Modes in the 2.0 as well. I believe it does use the technology according to the manual. It is hard to find information online, however.

Here's a little video where you can hear around the 1900hz range this weird drilling-like sound when I am turning and accelerating. It's louder the more I accelerate which is why I took off like that.

the video doesn't do justice as to how loud it is when it happens but maybe somebody out there would know!

I brought it into the dealership and asked about this along with a squealing pig sound when im backing up and pressing the brakes and they said they couldn't find anything... I was like... yeah okay whatever...
Hi there! Will you send us a message with your VIN and your local Ford dealer? I can look into things on my end.

What? Engine Sound enhancement!? It never occurred to me that my baby was faking it.
