Given the amount of throttle you're using, my guess would be a leak somewhere in the intake tract. The turbocharger in your car pressurizes the air going into the cylinders, but before it gets to the cylinders it's routed through the intake system and throttle body. The fact that it gets louder the harder you accelerate also fits. The greater the power demand the greater the boost pressure.
If you're at all mechanically minded, you might check all the clamps on the intake tract to make sure they're all tight. Get a powerful flashlight and an inspection mirror and inspect the intake tubing from the air filter box all the way to the throttle body. If you don't see something obvious you'll have to get your service department involved to track it down.
If it is an intake leak there's no harm in driving it; a bit more air moving around the engine bay won't hurt a thing.
