Turn Signal Blinking FAST

I am having the same electrical gremlin, it popped up on my23 Badlands with 12000 km troublefree so far. While driving yesterday I turn on the right blinker and it is blinking fast on the dash indicator and you can hear the relay clicking at the same rate. The outside front and rear lamps are the normal blink rate.
Is it the brake light causing this?

That is very possible, make sure to check all brake lights including center brake light on top of rear hatch

Certainly the Ford dealership will provide technical assistance but I think you are referring to the Ford internet representative that monitors these forum threads … they don’t provide technical answers such as for your brake light bulb thread.

Thank you forum members, as it turns out it is my brake light that has given up the ghost.

If you didn’t change the brake light bulb maybe you have an intermittent connection that also takes out the turn signal

Same here. I didn't check the brake light, so I'll do that now. But the car is only a few months old.

As it turns out it was a faulty brake light, replaced and now I have a turn signal that is not acting like it has overdosed on caffeine.

Hi fellow BS owners...our 2021 BS BB, almost 18,000 miles, started with this turn signal rapid flashing this afternoon. Thanks to this forum and a YouTube video, we changed the brake light bulb ourselves.
All is well again...
