How hard would it be to add the one touch up/down controls? Right now only my driver window has one touch and it is only one touch down.. kind of annoying minor detail.. would much be required to equip it with all four up/down or is it just a matter of replacing the switches themselves with a different module?

hmm
You'd need all 4 door window switch units. The switches with the 1-touch features have 2 positions - press down part way and the window moves only as long as you hold it. Press down a little harder and release to trigger the 1-touch feature.

Further, the motors/regulators in each door need to support the feature, which means more parts to swap out.

There may or may not be any wiring differences as well.

Then, you'll need to enable the feature in software (most commonly with FORScan).

Finally, it's just the standard reset procedure to calibrate the system in each door. Basically you hold down the switch until the window opens fully and hold for ~2s, and repeat with closing.

Many have inquired about this for their Mavericks especially, none at MTC have reported back that they've gone through the effort.

I assumed all trim levels have this great feature. Is it only Badlands and maybe FE and Heritage? I guess you also lose the ability to open and close all windows with the fob.

No, not all trim levels have it. And yes, the global windows feature only works on vehicles equipped with one-touch windows.

Outer Banks and Badlands get 1-touch up/down. That includes Heritage Limited and First Edition as they're based on Badlands. All others only get 1-touch down on the driver door.

I hate that they cheaped out on it. I’d almost prefer no one touch over having the driver one touch down only. Just reminds me that I’m missing some little things when it doesn’t one touch back up.

Any idea what would need to be changed in software? I would think that once the hardware would be swapped the windows would go up and down just using the available electricity and I assume latching circuits. Where does the computer come into play with one touch?

I’d probably order the parts and do this if I didn’t have to get into playing with the computer programming

I never knew how much I’d miss that feature. I hate not having it! I do r think any of my windows have it in my BB
