I have a 2022 Badlands. I want to get bigger tires without a lift. I thought of getting the Ko2 but they aren't available for that model. So is my best option BFGoodrich® Trail-Terrain ? Please let me know your suggestions. I am not going off roading just want a bigger tire for the look and winter roads in pa.

KO2's are available in 245/65/17. I ran them on my 21 BL. Offroad they can't be beat. But if you're not going offroad the BFG Trail Terrains would be a good choice. If you have a lot of snow, should take a look at Wildpeak AT3's in the same size. 3 peak rated. Probably have an edge on both BFG tires in rain and snow. I have these on my current BL in 245/65. Noise is not bad at all. The KO2's are quite a bit noisier.

You can fit 245/70R17 on Badlands with no lift
Have you run them? I'm skeptical that the 70's won't rub under articulation. The rub would be on the felt fender liner at the rear and would probably be ripped out. Lots of guys here run 245/65 with no problems. I've only seen one guy that has 245/70's. I watched the KO2's with my wife going lock to lock on level payment and they barely clear. I would be afreaid to sink a $1000 into tires that might damage my vehicle.

235/70/17 Goodyear wrangler workhorse ,at 30 inch tall is the best fit imo.

If all you are “looking” for are looks, then I agree with @Jrl, get the KO2 235/70-17. No chance of rubbing if you are not going off road. Just be aware, your spare tire will be a temporary fix only. Personally, I like the optional 235/65-17 Falkens. But, they do not have the “looks” of the KO2’s but I like the the way they ride and the traction in rain and snow. Plus, it fits in the spare tire well without any modifications.

You do understand that the rub on BS's isn't at the top of the wheel well and a lift won't prevent the rub at the rear of the wheel well? I suspect your 255's will rub there. Some have ground down the pinch weld that holds the fender to the unibody, but that is not something I would do. Personally I think the combo of 255's a lift and offsets are going to change the way your BS handles and not for the better.

Nitto Nomad Grapplers. Designed specifically for these vehicles. 10+ pounds lighter Per tire than ko2. They look great and ride smoothly and quietly.

Afforse I now that I’m working in cars all days. Yes it’s needed to hammered the pinch weld down .I will not grounding it down then you need also need to cut out littlabit the inner fender .

yes the rub can also be from te the top from inner tires where the spring seat is people need also have that in mind , that’s why I’m buying wheels with different offset

@Ashb624 many forum members are using the Falken Wildpeak A/T Trail and would highly recommend it. It's a meatier looking tire with mild highway mannerisms. That would be my vote. :like:
