Had a vent phone mount from the previous car, but didn’t like how it pulled the vent down and covered it on the BS.
So, while rummaging around in the garage, found some unused little IKEA bracket.

so, I trimmed it at an angle so it would align with the oh so popular “behind the screen” console. Attached it to said console, then used the vent clip holder to attach to the bracket.

It sits a bit high, or at least higher than I’m used to. But, it doesn’t interfere with my line of sight onto the road ahead.

Here's my attempt at front fender insulation today. A word to the wise for anyone up to the task. Be careful around the fender edges and bracing. Some of them are very sharp. I put a nice slice in my left thumb today.

As always I kissed it good morning. Then, a bit later, I drove it to and from the library.
Until the temperature humidity index stays below 100 degrees here in North Carolina, my exciting life remains on hold. ?

Took it for a bath and then stopped at the dealership to pick up may parts order (except the spoiler). Everything is waiting for me to do the work. I have lights, cameras and a few other goodies. I post pictures as thing get completed. ?

I had the front roll-up windows tinted. A tint that is supposed to reduce heat 50%. It sat overnight in the garage and still had some small bubbles. So I decided to roll it out in the drive and cook the windows. Didn't take long. We've had a string of 100+ degree days. The thermometer in the seat is a good reminder of the danger of leaving kids or pets in a car, though. Had been outside about two hours.

Received the console tray from Amazon. Came with Blue and Red inserts. Perfect fit.

Handy accessory. Allows you to reach the things you use most frequently. Had one in my 21 BL and just moved it and my Ford mats over to the 23 BL.
