Looking at getting either the BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A K02's or the Trail Terrain T/A on my Bronco Sport Badlands. Doing some off road in Wyoming in the fall. Leaning towards the All-Terrains but they are $$$. Any thoughts?

Are the All-Terrain more aggressive than Trail Terrain?

I'm still on stock Contis but I feel if you're not going through deep mud or crawling around on hills, the less aggressive would do fine.

Considerably less aggressive. That being said, the Trail Terrain is a good tire and it was designed for this subset of unibody small SUVs. The KO2s are primarily intended for trucks and Jeeps. Lots of folks run them on this forum with satisfaction and they do look killer. But as stated, they are probably the heaviest tire commonly put on the Sport.

I was looking at both tires Trail terrain and KO2 and ended up picking the Trail Terrains in a larger size 245/60R18 (vs 225/60R18 that came on my BS Big Bend) due to:

1. 80 to 90 %of my mileage will be on road with te remaining % on dirt roads and some beach access road.
2. Weight and cost the Trail Terrains were a bit lighter and less expensive, but still have a good all terrain look.
3. Almost certain will not off-road, maybe a fire trail.

The BS is a compromise vehicle, and the Trail Terrain tires are also. I had the KO2s on my Jeep LIberty and loved them. It turned into an off road beast. I did pay a price in fuel mileage, but when Trump was in office, diesel was cheap.

I've also had the Trail Terrain tires on my F-250. Every size above mine were recalled. I had a front wheel blowout and which was darn near catastrophic. A few weeks later, I got a bulge on another tire. The dealer replaced all of the tires.

That said, it was several years ago, and I wouldn't hesitate to put them on my BS since it is a much lighter vehicle than my Superduty.

I have the Falken AT3 tires on mine now, and I've been very happy with their off road capabilities.

I had Trail Terrains on my 22 OB for 1 - 1.5k miles before I traded it & I liked them. Quiet in expressway, not harsh at all (but firmer than the OEM Michelins). Never off road while I had it. Took away the “squirmy” feeling.

Having the Trail TA's installed this week. Went with 235/60 R18's on my OB. The weight wasn't bad, only 30lbs. Should look good. We'll see.

@MarkDavo007 I would recommend the Trail T/A's as well. They are designed to give you the rugged look without compromising your ride quality. @jmhpi49 looking forward to your initial review of the Trail T/A.:like:
