Installed them over the weekend they look good and are decent quality ( surprisingly scratch resistant). The design is a little different from the bushwacker, they are actually more aggressive which I like. I would suggest screwing in the clips to attach or use good 3m tape for security but it's the same for the bushwacker. Also I would buy a good fender flare trim, the one that comes with the fenders is ok but I purchased a higher quality one. Im happy with them worth the money.

I like the look. I believe the Bushwacker flares are one piece in the front and these are 2 piece but they look good.
Were there issues with the splash guards and did you need to trim for the flares to fit?

I had to trim like an inch off the front mud flap only. The differences I see between the bushwacker is the front in two pieces and the extra embossing around the bolts

Found and just ordered these fender flares that seem to be a copy of the bushwacker version but half the price. I will give an update on the quality when I receive them.

Hello, I see it's been over a year since you posted this, but I just bought the same thing myself and just went through the instructions. I note the biggest issue is that it seems these add-on flares are only attached to the bottom with the clips and float at the top where the edge trim (including the extra ones you bought on Amazon) is just a spacer to close the gap between the top side of the flare and the body but does not attach to anything. How are yours holding out? I like your choice of the more substantial trim, but was wondering if you had to do anything to help keep the flares on? For example, what about adding some double-sided tape to the inside of the trim so there is an actual connection to the vehicle and top of the flare?
Thanks, any thoughts, ideas or even a one year on review would be appreciated.

I didn't buy these; I bought the Bushwackers from Ford. They attach the same way, with clips that go around both the fender flare and the inside of the OEM trim piece. The Bushwackers use 3-5 clips for each piece (there are four total pieces).

If these are like the Bushwackers, double-sided tape won't work because of the gap between the flare and the OEM trim piece. You can certainly "upgrade" and use screws or some other hardware to connect the flare to the OEM trim piece, but so far that hasn't been necessary for mine. The included clips seem to be durable, and if installed correctly there seems little chance of them coming loose. If they do, you can simply remove the clip and install a new one.

Thanks, so much for your prompt reply. Yes, these are quite like the bushwackers and attach the same way. I WAS thinking about your idea of screwing the add-on flares to the OEM trim: it makes it a permanent solution, but would also make them more durable for a bit of off-roading. I may just try using the instructions, drive around a bit and then decide. The fact that you haven't had problems after a year gives me greater confidence. Cheers!

Just to be clear, I'm not the person you asked the question of. I've had the flares on my car since April, but I've been off road and forded fairly deep water resulting from torrential rain storms. So far, they seem to be holding up quite well.

D'oh! Thanks Mark, I really didn't notice - see my avatar, it's clearly not the first time I've D'oh'd. Either way thanks for the info.
