I wanted distressed, but this was my first time and there were too many moving parts. Your application looks like it fits the window too. You can't tell but mine was a few 16th" too big and I reapplied it a few times while window was wet and still had to razor trim it. Next time if I do it I'll have to apply it lower and bring the bottom bars up, but my car is kind of flagged out. Might of overdid it: two flag plate holders, flags on doors above trim badging. I removed a flag themed punisher mask and 2 flags from lift gate. Maybe a patriot themed trim?

Took my wife's 21 Bronco Sport in for service to the local dealership for its 30K mile service on the maintenance plan. When we came to pick it up it was parked in front of a 2 door Bronco, unfortunately I was not able to get a picture of them together.

OK, I went back for this hill and it kicked my ass. The video is unedited with no sound because I was too depressed to make anything out of it.
I'm not sure why you should be depressed about this. You're using your car at the limits of its capability, which is far more than most people will ever do with it. And you are learning it's capabilities.

It appears to me that you could make it past that spot with a bit of momentum. Here's what I would do: First, understand what's happening. Unlike the Badlands, your 4WD system incorporates an air-cooled power transfer unit (PTU); the device that shifts power to the rear wheels. When the clutches get hot the system disables the 4WD system to prevent damaging them. The system will reenable itself once the PTU cools down.

Given all the work the system did to get you past the first part of the hill, the PTU was probably already quite hot before you attempted the second part. I think if you take a short pause after climbing the first part, say 5-10 minutes, to allow the PTU to cool off you could make it up the second part without the system overheating. Just keep your momentum going past the trouble spot.

This is interesting about the PTU being air cooled.

I've been planning to do the Padre Island National Seashore which is about 60 on a primitive beach with loose sand. Would I have any issues if I keep driving 10-15 mph? I might stop every now and then to enjoy the view or walk around a bit.

I've never been out there (other than going out the first 10 miles) but I want to make sure I'm prepared. I do not want to get stuck way out there.

Any driving conditions that result in the front wheels slipping will result in the PTU engaging. If the wheels are spinning when the PTU engages the clutches will have to slip to allow for different wheel speeds between the front and rear. That will generate heat. If you are not hooning around on the sand and spinning the front wheels a lot I would think you should be fine. As noted in your owner's manual, if your PTU overheats you'll see a warning that the 4WD system is disabled. At that point just give it a few minutes to cool off and you'll be back in business. While waiting for it to cool I'd analyze my driving technique to see if I could do something different to avoid generating wheel spin. Sometimes that's not possible, but I'd avoid it as much as possible with an air-cooled PTU.

That make sense. I guess that'll be a good time to have a snack or take in the scenery.

That means I need to get a chair.

Sorta defeats the purpose of back-up lights doesn't it? I put LED bulbs in for brighter lights and the tint makes the stock lights even dimmer.

I will consider swapping for led bulbs, do you have a link for those ? You can get a lighter shade but I chose 20% , It does look a bit darker in the photos
