Not sure how hard you tried shoving it in but I’m fairly strong and close to 200 pounds and gave my spare one hell of a shove to fit in there. If you’re smaller, I’d try pulling the cover and crawling on your hands and knees over the spare and giving it all you’ve got to stuff it down further. It should fit bit there’s a chance the trail terrains have a larger diameter. At first I didn’t think mine would fit but after an audible squeak and what felt like a sizable drop mine fit right in there and I was able to put the “keeper nut” back on the threaded rod in the center and have the cover sit flush with no gap.Does your floor piece gap? I have the tow package and I had a full size spare, but when I switched up to my BFG Trail-Terrain TA 245/65R17, I got a 5th for the spare and I had a heck of a time getting it in the space. My floor piece gaps at the back, so either I got the wrong floor piece or perhaps these tires don't quite fit as well as the KO2s?
