I have two:

1) Drivers using their cell phone; not paying attention to lights that turn green, or paying attention to the road while driving.

2) Pedestrians who jaywalk rather than using the crosswalk or ignore the "don't walk" light.

Jay walking is mine... I wrote a paper in college of why there should be stricter jaywalking laws lol.

1. Failure to signal lane change.
2. Too lazy to clean windows off after snowstorms.
3. Failure to turn on headlights when visibility is low (dawn, dusk,
rain).
4. Pedestrians and bicycle riders wearing all dark clothes at night with no reflective clothing or reflectors.

Phones.

I went off on another thread already. I’ll spare you.

There‘s a device is everyone’s face and it’s getting people killed.

I think mine is people who don't realize they need to turn on their headlights because they have daytime running lights. Two things that they don't seem to know. First, is that they don't have any tail lights on even though the daytime running lights are on. Second, is that the headlights are brighter than the daytime running lights. It seems that every time I am driving at night/early morning I see at least one person that is doing this. Maybe not every time, but it sure feels that way.

Tailgating. It makes me nervous...I don't like feeling like I'm beholden to someone else's driving habits to stay safe. Especially with how long of a wait it would be for any parts needed to make repairs.

1. Tailgating. Seriously, your failure to plan your obligations is not my problem.

2. All the erratic driving from cell phone use. Dangerous for everyone.

3. Snow/ice not removed from cars. --a member of my Garden Club needed 5 operations and lost the sight in one eye from ice that came through her windshield.

Slow drivers don't bother me, but I do worry about them and being victims of road rage. They are often elderly and doing their best with limited peripheral vision.

Truth time: I once got a ticket in Miami for jaywalking. Never paid it. I guess that makes me Wanted in Miami! :bandit:

Drivers who use their cell phone when stopped at a traffic light. I have had to blow my horn several times because the light turns green & the vehicle in front of them pulls away & they are still sitting there. They can't even sit the little time at a traffic light without picking up their phone, what ever it is can wait until they get where they are going.

Well, if we're picking two, I would probably echo the device use. It's so bad... we have another car with a feature Ford doesn't have. It's called "Departure Warning". The car beeps at you and puts a message on the dash to alert you to the stopped car in front pulling away. I don't know why we are creating tech to assist people into being inattentive drivers.

My other would be people that don't understand how a left turn lane works. It isn't a driving lane. You don't get in it 1/4 mile before your turn. You don't need to decelerate 10MPH before getting over. Just use ya blinkah and get in when it's time to turn. Press brake pedal to slow/stop.

Failure to use turn signals!!!
Or those who use turn signals, then drive 15 miles below the speed limit looking left or right for the street they want to turn on.
