Hi, new to the forum and loving seeing all of the great things everyone is doing to their BS.

Yesterday we added the following to our little Bronquito:
1.5” HRG Lift
245/65/17 BFG KO2s
Method Wheels
Roof Racks

Had the windows tinted a week ago, also installed OEM mats.
Skid plate is on the way!

For those of you who've installed the Aeorskin II, I've read that it causes a lot of wind noise and the hood rattles at highway speeds. What's your opinion on it? I bought one (not installed yet) and I'm now rethinking the decision.

I’ve noticed some hood vibration but compared to my f-150 it’s nothing. I’d rather have the windshield protection.

Likewise. I’m not concerned with the bug protection from it, but more so the rock chips to my windshield and front of my hood. The Aeroskin II seems like it’d provide more protection than the low profile ones.

Changed my tow hooks from red to orange. This spray paint was posted in a Facebook group. It closely matches the Badlands badge. It’s pretty indistinguishable and looks great.

Did a quick rust bust and spray paint on my skid plate when I changed the oil a few days ago, the little bit of Ohio salt out there was starting to rust it after our not so awful winter. Did 2 coats, will add more as needed... I might remove the insulation pad in the future as it seems to be a sponge on the one side that just draws water up the 6 panel retaining tabs and lets em soak and rust out the plate. If you're picky like I am, beware lol.

I've had good luck with corrosion inhibitors. Here's a list at Amazon. I use ACF-50 personally. I anything that looks like it might corrode a good coat in the fall.

Let it dry longer than you’d think or what it says on the bottle if you can. Looks good so far. Best thing about plasti dip is it comes off easy if you don’t like how it turns out.

Thank you, and thanks for the tip. I did the rear tailgate emblems awhile back. Super easy, flat surface.

So many coats with the tow hooks, though.
