Has anyone used snow chains on their BS? I have larger tires and a 1.5” spacer lift and I’m concerned that the chains will not have enough clearance!

I have the Wildpeaks in 235/65R17. everything I’ve read says not to put chains on them as they are rated for snow.

No guarantees, as I’m often wrong, but I think the cable chains will work. I got a set of cable chains with a carrying bag, and some tensioners, from Amazon at a reasonable price For my BL. They’re decent quality and for emergency use/show at CHP check point only.
Truth be told, over the years I had 9 previous 4x4’s and one set of chains. Never been stuck in snow, and never had to put the chains on, only show them at the check point. The chains actually only really fit on two of the vehicles — the rest had too much rubber on them.

The owners manual says do not use chains or cables on 235/65R 17 tires. I assume Ford thinks chains or cables will rub.
That statement alone pretty much says not to use cables or chains on any larger tire size.

For the 225 size tires they recommend only 10 mm cables or chains on the front wheels.
