Are you happy with your Bronco Sport? My wife told me last night that's our next ride

Had our BL for just over a year, 10,000km with no issues other than the whale call noise that I find hilarious. Tested in 18 inches of snow on south Vancouver Island over the last two days and the thing is a beast. I’ve never felt this comfortable/confident driving in snowy conditions in any previous car or truck.

Bought my Bronco Big Bend in February of 21, so has been almost two years now. 61.000 miles; yes, I drive a lot. Had an issue with one leaking shock, which was replaced. The other issue was with the coolant level going down occasionally, but that no longer seems to be a problem, although I keep a close eye on it. Yes, I get the brake noise at certain times when I back up. But I also have owned Toyota's and Honda's that did the same thing. Recently had a 2023 Accord as a rental that made the same brake noises my Bronco does when I backed it up. Doesn't seem to be an issue unique to Ford. I have the 1.5 3 cylinder. I do oil changes every 5-6,000 miles, have never had to add oil between changes. I see these YouTube videos of guys reviewing the 1.5 saying it vibrates, etc. I have the opposite, the engine runs so smooth that I have actually gotten out of the car thinking I have shut it off when I haven't. Like most cars, follow the maintenance schedule and things will work out for you. I did have a problem finding replacement engine air filters. Couple dealers and auto parts stores I went to said they couldn't get them. Went online, finally found some and ordered and replaced the filter myself. Car sat outside Tuesday night in -10 degree weather, started right up Wednesday morning. I don't off road, so I can't speak to that. I do drive in snow quite a bit though, handles great in the snow. Anyway, hope this helps.

Note to self: drive a lot for fewer problems.

Ever see Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home? Brakes backing up when cold sounds a lot like a hump back whale.
That was the worst Trek movie of them all!

Well, of the OG crew, at least.

Had to look and see what could possibly have prolonged this thread. I truly didn’t see Star Trek coming!
I think Phantom Menace was my favorite Star Trek movie…

Double Dumbass.

Drilling holes in their head is not the answer!

Hello?... Computer? <cracks knuckles>

Objectively not the worst one though it probably has the most comedy highlights. I would rather listen to Ford brakes or The Probe than V'Ger.

Agreed. V’Ger wasn’t the worst, but it had the boring factor. The visuals were pretty good, though.
