Ford # to check on production

I misplaced the direct number to Ford. My BS Outer Banks has been in production 2 weeks, and I'm wondering if this is expected or there was a hitch. Thanks if you have the direct number. I'm wondering if I should be concerned that I didn't pass the end inspection!

I've been wondering the same thing. Mine has also been "in production" for almost two weeks but when I went to my dealer for service Wednesday, they said it was to be built tomorrow (Thursday, December 15) but I haven't received an updated email. I'm starting to get worried myself. Maybe it's built but they're just not telling me or if it's delayed yet again, which would make it the sixth time. If I don't hear anything over the weekend, I'll just go back to my dealer early next week and ask since I have a good relationship with them and they have more information from the manufacturer since they're a reputable dealership. Sorry I can't really help you in regards to getting a number but I'm in the same boat as you in regards to their vehicle status, even the same trim as yours.

The dealer can bring the vehicle up in the Visibility Report and get an up to date status. If Ford puts a hold on it that report will show it. Some times plant needs extra time to adjust or touch something up after built and doen't always mean some major delay.

Here is the Ford Custom Support Number 1-800-392-3673.

I received my “Built” email on the 12th and I’m still waiting on the shipment email. Supposedly the ETA to the dealer is 4-13 January, but not sure I see that happening. But hey, it’s built. Per Ford Customer Support and the dealer, it’s been released to the shipper, but needs to get loaded on the train.

You folks are lucky, Ford does not send email notifications to it’s Canadian customers. Even though we have had the inter web for years now.

Don't worry we ordered on 8/30, after about 3 months are order,(was pushed back from 11/14 to 12/5) went into production for 9 days then went to built, after about 1.5 weeks went to ship with a delivery date of 1/8 to 1/14, with are dealer verifying it was shipped by rail

When did yours says it was “built”? Then when did you get your shipment email?

It was built 12/9 and about 1 week later was notified it was shipped

My OBX was ordered 8/17, originally scheduled to be built 12/5. It was built on 12/11 and shipped on 12/12. I'll bet you get your shipping date in the next few days.
