I guess I was also wondering about heat on the hood also. I know i shouldn't compare to a diesel engine heat, but i do !!I feel mine is really quiet inside! My 23 OBX did not come with either cover or insulation.

And now it seems OBX has neither!

Mine was at the Westfield yard in Houston too! No experienced drivers to even load them, so I'd be waiting! Next day it was here! They dealership had their driver pick it up, an extra 74 miles to make me happy!! Isn't it fun!?!
