Time for some updates. For @Jenbeth, UP officially changed their messaging to “Release from Industry”. See below
Ford Bronco Sport July 2022 Waiting Room 21601B79-1427-4459-AD21-2A0DE5A76A62

Also, I called my dealership yesterday, asked about an ETA. They told me September 29th. I told them Ford said in an email it would be Sept 16-22, they said nope, the 29th.

I asked if they knew where it was, they said they don’t have access to that. I told them I knew where it was, and that it was off the train in Jersey. They said that doesn’t mean anything, they’ve had F-150 owners track theirs on the train and “it can sit in Jersey for a long time”. Hmph.

So that’s everything I have. Shame that it’s going to sit literally a one hour drive away from me for 27 full days before I can get it, but I guess that’s how these things go.

That is absolutely rotten news! I hope they are wrong and that it gets trucked to them earlier than they believe.

For me, UP now says either unloaded or empty, release from industry, so I guess it has been unloaded in Shelbyville. I’m hoping that, if the crowded lot in the rail yard was actually the issue, that they will get it out of there as soon as possible. It is literally 10 miles from both me and the dealership.

Just one more Ford Waiting Game for us both ??‍♀

Won’t know cus I didn’t order one…. That was considered…..but I’ve read some where that it won’t fit. It is just 235/70 just like the option. But this is the “trail” version instead of AT3W.
235/65-17 or 235/70-17. 235/65-17 AT3W is the optional tire.

With all the movement on your vehicle Friday, I believe it will be this week.

Maybe drive over to storage lot again see if you can spot it in the yard? Binoculars?

LOL!!! Called UP earlier and they say the car is officially empty and now NS says it is either reloaded or ready for reload, couldn’t decipher. I think mine has been officially unloaded.

Now my question is how long does it take the dealer to prep the car? I made the mistake of asking my son who is the service manager for a local Lexus dealership, prior to that at an Audi dealership and he says it takes them a week to get new vehicles prepped because they do so much to them once they arrive.

Of course I’m assuming the truck will get it to the dealership quickly, which is wishful thinking

My dealer only spent a coupe of hours prepping mine. Mine arrived at dealer on a Sunday or early Monday morning and I took delivery late on Monday. But some dealers are low on ppl and can take days. I have seen a lot of ppl who test drove theirs prior to it being prepped for sale.

I figured it was the snobby brands he works/worked for. Really hoping it gets to the dealer on Tuesday (closed tomorrow for Labor Day).

Okay, @Hooligan88 , I feel like today is your day. This whole mess got started on a three day “American” holiday, and now we have another one. Mexico’s Labor Day is on May 1st, so they should be working today. Nothing but positive thoughts heading your way.

Wonder if all of us in the “awaiting shipment” line are pawns in the railroad negotiations. Guess we will see by Sept 15.
