Joined up with over 250 other classic and G6 Broncos at the Northwest Bronco Roundup in Dunes City Oregon. Found a few other BS owners that are in town but I think I have the only Sport out on the tour. This is the first time that I've taken the Sport out on the soft dunes. It performed well being just a stock, off-the-line Badlands. The really big hill took a few tries to get a good line and run to get over. I could tell the rdu was getting hot from gunning it up there. Would not have made it with Continentals. Here's a shot that I hiked up for. The pano effect flattens the hill considerably. Second pic is from the bottom.

this is a bit off topic, but I see your mpg is 16.3. Is that correct? Ifso, why so low?
Less than 2 weeks old, January (and about 10 degrees) in the Midwest and very short initial trips.

Is that the Type S backup camera? Does it use you smartphone as the monitor?

I took my bronco sport back to a local powerline, to try a few things I hadn’t previously tried before. Used Trail control to get up a hill that had a blind steep dissent on the other side. Set it to 3 miles an hour, which seemed terribly slow at first but was glad of it when we got to the bottom. Then we went back up the steep side at 4 mph. We then found a previously blocked access to the powerline, near some railroad tracks and went through a couple of decent mud holes and finally got temporary stuck in a third, even though I was in “Mud & Ruts” mode, I was going very slow and hadn’t turned off the traction control. As soon as I turned off the traction control, it allowed the Mickey Thompsons to spin up and get us out. Later we came to a rut, running across our path with steep sides, that was maybe 15” deep, so we pulled out the traction boards and bridged it and went through like it wasn’t even there. We then finished our day at Mission BBQ, Mission accomplished!

Last week I had the front two windows tinted. Nothing dark, just enough of a tint to match the other windows. Today, my in channel window visors arrived, so those will go on tomorrow.
Future plans:
Auto stop/start eliminator.
Side decals.
Hood decal with bucking bronco cut out.
Interior wood grain 21 piece trim kit.
White vinyl wrap on roof, only between roof rails, to cut down heat.
Dash cam.
Radar detector.

What color is your BS? Would you please post photos once you get your roof wrapped? I'm considering that myself. Thanks in advance!

I installed a Dirtcom Trail Swing spare carrier. People have already posted pics of it installed, but I haven't seen any pics of how close it can fit to the back. I used the deepest pin position and it has just enough clearance from the bumper.

I took it to the glass shop to get the windshield fixed. Less than 300 miles and I got bit by rogue pebble on the highway. ?
I swear they don't make glass like they used to. I'm on my third window already. It doesn't help that most pickups don't have mud flaps anymore.
