That still makes no sense that they would build vehicles after ours with the same specs. And not finish ours first. I don’t get it at all!
Ford does that across all model lines at all their various factories. Very common pattern for Ford.

I agree and questioned my BL dealer about that. I also questioned Ford yesterday during my call. That was after I had asked him to call Mexico. Ford had no answer, just a sympathetic voice trying to console an irate customer. My dealer on the other hand is trying to find some answers. I will give them today but plan on hitting them up tomorrow morning for some info

I just was looking online and found a bs heading to a dealer quite a ways from me which has everything but the copilot 360+ that I ordered and it was built 08/03 and shipped already. A full month after ours. This makes no sense. I have seen others with both moonroof and copilot 360+ also that have shipped.

I believe all the modules are serial linked to a specific VIN for warranty information. So it seems as if this particular batch of modules has been delayed. Maybe they got held up in shipping or the vendor Ford gets them from just didn’t send them. So Ford can’t just put another module assigned to a different VIN in our vehicles. I mean they COULD but they won’t. So we’re stuck until the modules for our vehicles get there. At least that’s my understanding of how it works.

Oh. I didn’t know that. Thank you for the information! If the building burned down like someone said somewhere on here then what if our modules burned up too? Yikes!

So, unanticipated good news. Projected manufacturing date moved UP to week of 8/22 from 9/14. NICE! Have the VIN but no window sticker yet. :)

So what happened between jul 27-aug2? Did they maybe think they were going to get the chips by then but it didn’t happen? Just thinking out loud ☹?

Someone on Facebook mentioned that one of their chips failed during the final inspection so theirs is subject to a chip hold. It could have been a bad batch of chips. It could be that Ford had good intentions to get them out and then this happened, unfortunate but it does happen. She had ordered her BS in Oct 2021.

When I was searching around the forum last week to get an idea of delivery times. I found a thread from back in December that had a few runs that were all in a very similar place to us (although looked to be mostly resolved within a month ..... ). The rumor was a faulty batch of chips. Not sure if that was confirmed officially but, a theory. Sounds like we could be in the same boat.
