Having a module with some values missing could be that they aren't receiving data because you don't have some feature. Say you have remote entry but not remote start, the module would be the same but the module wouldn't be receiving data for the remote start antenna because it doesn't exist, but it would be receiving data for the remote entry. So you'd have the address line for remote start but no data and no checksum.

So one module missing information for one or two addresses to me would be normal, for it to be missing all of them would be strange. Hope I'm making sense lol.
I pulled up one that has been marked as shipped and all the 716 don't have anything in the last column

Could be that the sports just don't use that particular set of addresses it just stood out to me that there was nothing there.

Is there supposed to be all three columns of data there? I have quite a few that don’t have three. My 716s have always had only one column of data. I thought someone else said that was normal.
Same here. Several not full.

Makes me wonder what 716 is, because it still just one column. All of them have at least one column, most three, some only two or one.

From what I could find on the web and there isn't much. I believe it's the gateway module.

The GWM acts as a central gateway to translate messages across all 4 vehicle controller area networks (CAN), and vice versa. The GWM is the only module on this vehicle with this ability. The GWM also serves as a termination module for each of the networks to which it is connected.

Well, mine has either always had it with one column or still doesn’t have it with one column.

From someone who lived the lot rot debacle, and you all are taking it much better then I did, is Ford will eventually get those vehicles to you. No one knows when, no one, but at some point they will be shipped.

The day will come when you arrive at dealer and there it is the one ordered exactly the way you want it.

After all the grief Ford put me through with this lot rot nonsense was it worth it? In my case yes I got one of the good ones, an exceptional vehicle so far, exceeds my expectations, unique and very hard to find every option Badlands. So for me after living the lot rot nightmare it was worth it.

Ha. I may have shed a couple of tears in frustration today. What was your experience while you were waiting? Did Ford or the Dealer reach out once the chip was ready and installed? And then was it just getting the built/shipped Email as normal? Trying to reset my expectations.

I'm also coming up to that 45 days since Ford sent that automated Email so, curious what that is going to say!

Dealer told me on hold for missing chip. Eventually I got a built email then a shipped email. Then it got hung up in shipping for 6 weeks. Then finally the dealer called said its in and I could pick up that day.

I go down to dealer it was still being cleaned in back somewhere. An hour later I stood in show room they pull it up. I go outside and they pull window sticker out and said here it is the one you ordered. Once I saw window sticker thats when it it hit me its for real its actaully finally here.

I was just driving mine this evening and yeah it wows me how nice of a vehicle it is. And it makes me forget about the lot rot grief.

So sorry to see you all go through this. In my lot rot group many buyers bailed went bought something else. Some even went took pictures of theirs when it arrived but they stuck with what ever else they had bought. Then there are others like me that bought them and were glad they did.

Fortunately, I've been able to keep the fiance's car rolling and in decent shape. Plus we drove everything comparable to the BS and nothing is really quite the same. Everything else either doesn't have the same rugged styling or it just feels cheap (Looking at you Jeep). Except they aren't cheap and the fact that we got a fully loaded BL for 37k is enough for me that we're in for the long haul.

helpful! Thank you! I am going to stick with it but, if I would have known a couple of months ago what I know now, I would have shelled out the money to get some stuff fixed in my current car!

A dealer about 100 miles from has a big bend but instead of tow pckage(don’t necessarily need) has 360+ and selling for 500 more than I got. And it’s on the lot. Really thinking of doing it based on the uncertainty.

I would. no offense but im surprised any one would order a big bend or Outer Banks because I was having no trouble finding them months ago. They weren’t on the lot but dealers were willing to take a deposit to “claim” the incoming unit. Maybe things changed. Badlands have been impossible to find, at least within a 100 miles of me. That’s why I ordered…Plus Granger has one heck of a deal!
