I just came back from visiting my dealer so I could get a trade in value on my current car. He asked if I had been getting email updates on the Sport and I explained what has been going on. He checked and said mine is in transit and looks to be on track for delivery on Monday, or at least within the delivery timeframe of next week. ?? He said he wanted to make sure it was actually shipped and not sitting because that’s been the problem they’ve been running into.
Does yours still show in production on Fordā€˜s tracker?

They have been super thus far in communicating with us. Typically I don't have to message them, they normally will shoot me a text or email if they have new info. I've just been getting more impatient since Ford has seemed to have "lost" this particular week's production run.
All I ask for - just a quick update even if there isn't new info. Just a little "check in on the order - sorry, no new news".

FordPass is updating again, so it has stopped somewhere along the route. Will let you know when it is moving again.

My car started being built on 7/6 according to the tracker, during the intended build week (7/4). As of today, 8/3, it's been 12 working days at the factory since then, because of the 2 week break (and they work Mon-Sat).

I wonder how long it typically takes for the car to be built, and if that's the expected amount of time for a single car. 12 days or more seems like a perfectly reasonable amount of time to me to build a full car from scratch. But then again, I've never worked in a car manufacturing plant ?

Would be very cool if mine was shipped already like Jen's seems to be! But all I have to go off of is the tracker, which still says "In Production"

You’re in the same boat as we all are. I truly believe all of ours are built and shipped, I just happen to have the weird FordPass situation going on. One of us is going to get their vehicle soon, depending on how far away they are from the rail yard that will truck it to the dealer. I’ve driven myself crazy looking at the CSX routes that they seem to take. There is one that goes from St. Louis (BNSF transfer to CSX) to Louisville, but it looks like they go further north to the Great Lakes area and then come back down.

BTW, it takes 1.5 shifts to build a Bronco Sport

I just saw somewhere that united didn't show pending pickup until about 2 days before they pick it up! Fingers crossed for those that have a pending with them
My VIN has been showing inactive since the 31st on United. (Well that’s when I first looked, not sure how long it has actually been on there). On Monday, it showed 2 cars in transport to my dealership but mine was still listed inactive. So leaves me to believe… they are waiting for her to arrive as I am.

My in production was 7/02 run 1125/1718, which is same to several of you. Still no updates. I am located in OK which I would assume my train station would be pretty quick out the gate… however nothing! Ugh!!

Surly there has to be something they will do to right this wrong!

I think you are correct that you will be one of the first, if not THE first. The only thing that would hold up you getting before others would be if the trucking company takes longer to pick it up. There is one owner somewhere on this site who has been waiting for his BS to be picked up by truck from the rail yard for (I want to say) a few weeks now, if not longer.

I think if/when it arrives at the rail yard my dealer will call me. They told me instead of waiting for a semi, if I was ok with the 60+ miles, they would go get it & drive it to the dealership. So we will see. Not sure I want the miles on it.. but maybe they will just let me drive it back! ?

That’d be me. My salesman said it’s taking up to 20 days from offload at the last rail stop to the dealership. Once again, low volume probably hurting me because they’ll wait until they have a full truck. ?

They’ll want to detail it before they give it to you. I was thinking the same thing, the rail yard is 10 miles from my house and 10 miles from my dealership. I would have no problem going to pick it up. I would even deliver it to the dealership for detailing. One thing to note, though, is that some people on this forum have shown pictures of damage that happened to their vehicles during transit. I wouldn’t want to take possession and then not have that fixed.

It has to go through PDI (Pre Delivery Inspection) at the dealership before they will even let you sit in it.

I think I have just joined @Jenbeth on the FordPass

Should I?

this is funny I guess. So when I was frustrated nobody can tell me where my car is… I also tried to activate the App but it didn’t allowed me for a few times. So I gave up even checking the app….. but I thought I have a look just now and saw this!!!! It was activated 3:39 AM today. That’s 4:49 in Hermosillo? I’m in So Cal… not far from the plant at all.

unfortunately, like Jenbeth’s BS, my car (or I should say the car allocated to me) is showing in Mexico just outside of the plant near the tracks

but that may be the last time the car was driven and stopped which has 10 miles on the odometer.

I don’t know if this is a good news or bad.

tire pressure looks normal all 40 psi around.
