OOOPS!!!

Opened my Ford Pass app and it gave me the option to activate my vehicle. I clicked it thinking nothing would happen…

Right now I’m picturing someone working on my car wondering why the screen is asking it to conform activation (although I’m pretty sure my phone would need to be much closer than it is now). Hope I didn’t mess anything up.

You have to be in the vehicle to activate it in the app.

I've officially hit that point in the week where I go from "I'm not stressing.. it is what it is" to "I've lost all patience and I want to start flipping tables because I haven't seen any movement!". I know that the shipment/delivery wait is going to be rough. But, since I've ordered my BS, I've moved multiple states away so, I have a lot of logistics to deal with to actually pick the vehicle up. And I'm definitely a planner. The unknown is rough.

How will that even work? Did you have to switch dealerships?

I figured, but it was pretty cool to see there was a vehicle attached to my FordPass app.

No, I’m just going to travel to the original dealership when it comes in. Just need to coordinate with my current vehicle, work schedules, license plates, all that fun stuff!

Same here, I have my dealer checking into it, Ford Chat said ETA 8/11 but still in production.

So, if they are not built and shipped by end of day Saturday I assume we will have to wait through the two week plant shutdown?

Ford just told me 7/22 projected day....

that is not a good news. so they are not projecting finishing the build this week. if that is true, I won't get my until late August or even September?!!!

isn't that week the plant is down anyway?!!!

Decided to try my own chat- first rep said I needed to call the marketing team? Oh well. Second rep gave me some interesting details… they said they had no other information immediately available to them. I feel like it’s unlikely to be in this timeframe (shipping to Des Moines, IA), but optimistic for a soon to come ship date.
