we went for an overnighter. sport was great and we found a chill spot on the lake. lifting a 110lbs dog into and out of the rooftop tent was not fun.
Weathertech makes a hood deflector that wraps around and mounts to existing holes. No adhesive.Back in the day, I had a hood defector that mounted on my Gen 1 Escape into OEM holes under the hood. The deflector wrapped around and stood off the hood by about an inch. Not sure why something like that isn’t an option for the BS but I have an aversion to anything that sticks to the paint with adhesive. I really like the looks for the Ford deflector but it’s a non-starter for me for just that reason.
That A51 color looks SOOOO much better in person/good photographs than what Ford's build system depicts. It's definitely grown on me.BRO! The car got a nice wash, wax, and some RainX added to windows on the one sunny day between rainy/overcast ones.
I added some vinyl stickers to the BROnco. My kid said I should leave it as "Bro," but part of me thinks with my Veteran plates people might mistake me for a former NCO (not that there's anything wrong with that!). I was an O3, however. I'll probably finish them. I was a bit hasty with the letters and did end up with some Tiny Bubbles (a Don Ho earworm for you) and a slightly off-center letter R (I'm not too bothered..).
Sadly, the free SpongeBob meme sticker Matt sent didn't adhere, at all ?, oh well it was free. The color of the letters, BTW, is Green Malachite. It is pretty sweet. Changes from like a Gold/Orange to a Blue-Green/Green shiny color. Matches the A51 well IMO.
Bonus Homie Buddha, which is now centered on my dash (you might see his little yellow scalp in one of the images if you have a sharp eye!). It's the little things.
For the BS, I looked on their site and the one on there looks like it goes on with adhesiveWeathertech makes a hood deflector that wraps around and mounts to existing holes. No adhesive.
I purchased one, but it was apparently defective so they refunded it. But, it actually attached with existing holes under front lip of hood, no adhesives. For the BS, I looked on their site and the one on there looks like it goes on with adhesive

I really dig it. Funny enough, my sister-in-law's husband just bought a Maverick in the same color. This color is wild. In some lights, it's almost a dull grey tone and in bright sun, it's very vivid. That A51 color looks SOOOO much better in person/good photographs than what Ford's build system depicts. I am thinking about getting these. I don’t have a lift but it will fit my Outer Banks without it. What are your thoughts. Is that you’ve had them for some time? How does it impact gas mileage? Any other issues?Just added new shoes 255 55 18 ko2 , no rubbing issues

I prefer the term “thrifty.” ?[...cheaper than most options and looks good too.
Don't know if it would work, but looks like maybe -- there's a gizmos advertised on late night tv called the "Lint Lizard". It fits on the hose of a ship vac and has a small diameter, flexible hose maybe 3 1/2-4 feet longwhich you can wiggle into some really tight places. If the dirt's dry it'll probably pull it out. This is cheap (@ $10 last time I saw it). You could probably make one yourself, but at the price it's easier just to buy one. ** also work well on clothes dryer lint removal (what it was made for). Some people clean cars, and some people clean cars. Honestly I'm not great at it but sometimes I notice things and then they bug me so bad I have to do something about it. One of my complaints with the BS is how poorly the fender wells "seal" the car and stuff get up over them. Here's what results. I pulled out that big foam baffle piece that is just forward of the driver doors. Found enough dirt to register my Bronco with OFB as a legal farm operation.
This stuff is everywhere. The plastic trim around the wheel well? Yeah, well, it's hollow and all the stuff that slings up there is collecting at the bases like a Connect 4 game. I pulled a bunch of 1/4"- out of there with the dirt. This pic is after I pushed most out onto the garage floor. It's all up inside the plastic claddings on the bottom of the rockers too. Still haven't figured out a great way to get into the rears, short of removing the wheels and liners.

One note: I do not recommend taking the cladding pieces off. These plastic snap-on parts are made to be assembled one time.

Found enough dirt to register my Bronco with OFB as a legal farm operation - Galmdring70, What did you do TO your Sport Bronco today?
I have several option to reach it. It is fairly dried-on stuck though. It needs abrasion to get totally clean or you have to get brave with the pressure washer. They make little brushes that insert into the end of a regular crevice tool.
