Searched and hadn't seen any discussion on these new trims revealed via MY'23 VIN Decoding. (Page 9 for the Bronco Sport)

Ford Bronco Sport 2023 Bronco Sport HERITAGE and HERITAGE Limited Edition revealed via VIN decoder 1659176060027

What do we know (speculation or factual) and what has been seen via spy shots? What is the "Heritage" of the Bronco Sport? The 2nd Generation Ford Escape is the closest parent. Maybe a link could be drawn that the Ford Escape was born out of downsizing the Ford Explorer at the time which we know the Bronco II was the parent of the Explorer.

FYI: For those following, I've been a long time member of both B6G and the Bronco Sport forum. I'm well-aware of the Heritage Edition for the Bronco. I'm the one responsible for being the inspiration of the famous renders that were done last year and gained the attention of Paul Wraith. I've had spy shots of the Heritage Edition since January of 2021 before camo was applied.

Very interesting.

In the full-size, the Heritage adds old-school cues including a small-ish FORD logo in front instead of Bronco, different wheels and a few other things.

Nothing mentioned anywhere about this trickling down to the BS.

You think they'll tie the color to the model? Interesting as Eruption Green is a stand-alone color or the Bronco...
No. The colors for MY'23 on the Sport are below: (Note: These are only colors across all trims. Any special edition such as the Heritage and Heritage Limited are not listed.)

I was looking at the 2nd Generation Ford Escape in following the "heritage" of the Bronco Sport and decided to look at the 1st generation Ford Escape for styling cues. I think we can all expect that any differences on the Heritage Edition will only be in appearance. For the most part, I would expect Badlands capability but rebadged to reflect the Heritage Edition style. With that in mind, I wonder if the Heritage Edition will have the 2-tone styling of the 1st generation of the Ford Escape?

Would they introduce additional trims at this point in the game? It still takes half a year or longer to even get your hands on a current trim.

Sorry. But I promised to never share the photos. I never promised that I wouldn't describe what I saw in the photos. You can see the work by Brian at John Bronco Sells 2022 Bronco Heritage Edition. You will see the date of his thread which was about 5 months after I was entrusted with photos. It took him about a month to create the renders based on consulting with me. Paul Wraith, the designer of the 6G Bronco, contacted Brian personally to commend him on the work but also to try and find out how the renders were as accurate as they were. Keep in mind of the timeline and the effect of the Webasto problems with the HT pushed the timeline of availability of the Heritage Edition on the 6G to MY'23. Originally, the HE was slated for MY'22 and the Everglades for MY'23, but Webasto's inability to produce the modular hard top pushed the timeline.

Yes. They don't stop introducing new editions because the supply chain and production can't keep up with demand. The HE won't be a model refresh so the engineering is already in place. They can source a unique set of wheels, grill accents, seating options, and unique paint colors and call it a new Heritage Edition.

My point of this thread was to create a discussion on what this may look like as the Sport's Heritage would be tied to the early Escape. Some can make the argument that the Bronco II was the granddaddy, but I don't think anyone is realistically expecting a 2-dr with gullwing rear windows on a Bronco Sport Heritage Edition.

I suppose it makes sense. The f150 has like a dozen different trim models at this point. I would just be disappointed if Sync 4 was finally rolled out into these potentially even higher trim levels then the BS BL edition for the later 2022 and 2023 models. That is my only grip about the BS over the newer model fords.

The SYNC 3 was a deal killer for me on the Sport. We know that the hardware can't be upgraded. Having a brand new model with legacy tech was a non-starter for me. I expect for the model refresh that SYNC 4 will be implemented and these gen1 Bronco Sports will be showing their age. The 6G Bronco is slated for MY'24 refresh. I would expect the Sport to follow the same timeline. If the SportHog ever comes to fruition, I'll be first in line to add it to my stable.

Might have to hold off on ordering now to see what these are about.
