Just recently installed the Yakima Jetsream HD Crossbars. They have a slight upward bow to them. I followed all of the instructions, but wanted to make sure I did everything right. Should they lay perfectly flat?

Mine has it too.....very slight; when I put my roof rack or rooftop tent on you don't notice it anymore.
Love these roof racks....no sound at all

They look good!
How wide did you go and which towers are you using?
Thanks!

How much did your set up cost? I opted not to go for the OEM HD crossbars as the height seemed really tall.

I don't remember the exact measurements, but just measured across and split the difference down the middle. They're holding up great and seem to not be effecting mileage. These are on the a timberlines that came with the whole setup from the dealership.

All in it was about $500 from the dealership. But that included the locks. It was a great price considering it would have been $600 or $700 depending on the retailer.

Have you put a load on those crossbars yet? I'm wondering how the rubber strap that holds the feet to the rails are going to hold up. My plan is to put a 125lb roof top tent and awning on top, looking for crossbars. I'm partial to the clamp-on feet but wondering about these that you have. Thanks.
