2021 Big bend 13,000 miles. I got in today and pressed the start button, I heard a pop, and just like that everything was dead. I couldn't even lock the doors. The tow truck shows up, and when he opened the door the headlights started flickering. He gave it jump, and it started right up. So I drove to O'reilys for a battery, but wanted to test it first. His tester couldn't test it because it kept telling him to turn the car off first even though it was off. He gave me jump start, and it started up, so I drove it to the dealer. On the way there it kept giving me a warning that forward collision warning wasn't available. I dropped it off tonight at the after hours drop off so I don't know what issue it might be. With everything I've read about Ford electrical problems I'm a tad concerned. Has anyone had something similar to this?

Most likely the battery, in my 2021 it started acting up at 19k miles. Had it replaced under warranty no problems since.

If you do a search you will find all kinds of posts
related to battery issues.

Hopefully this is the case. The dealer just called and wanted the door code to get into it. He said it was throwing some weird codes, and the keys got locked inside.

This vehicle is VERY dramatic when the battery dies. And there is almost zero warning.

Hey there. Can you please send over a private message with your VIN and the name/location of the Ford dealer you are working with so I can look into this starting issue on my end?
