Hey y'all,

So my wipers are dead except for the highest setting in front -- none of the lower settings or the intermittent will come on. No rear action at all. Washer croaked front and back too. This is kind of a problem since I live in New Orleans and it's hurricane season. ☠

Except for a couple big trips, I don't work this rig too hard. I bought it in January 24 and have barely put 11K on it.

The dealership told me they'd need to have it for 2-3 days to run diagnostics.

Read through the thread from last August about a similar problem & the solution being a wiper motor recall on 23's but I didn't receive that recall then, and it doesn't show up on my recall dashboard.

Any thoughts? Am I going to have to just suck it up and leave it with the dealership for 3 days? Ugh.

A quick reading of that recall sounds like a motor failure. If your motor works, I'd bet on something else. There are several fuses related to the wipers instead of 1 like you would think. Fuses for the front/rear/heaters/etc. Would be faster than 3 days to verify those. Could also be the stalk switch died or a fuse to the BCM controlled by the wiper stalk. GLWR.

If the motor is working, I also suspect it is just a fuse.

High speed only means it’s the resistor pack. Atleast that what it was on cars in the past.
