Windshield wipers fluid comes out late

Haven't tried it yet, but on my Escape you push the lever out, opposed to in, for the front.

I'll give that a try next time I drive it.

How do you make it squirt?

Push it towards the front of the vehicle for rear washer, pull towards you for front window washer.

It took a little while but worked.

I had a '71 Audi that had a rubber button and a check valve. You could get as much washer fluid on the window as you wanted before turning on the wiper. Thinag have digressed since then. This is the first vehicle I've had since that didn't scratch first and wash later.
