Why Dragon name for engine?

Three headed dragon is in slavic mythology and I thought it was named that because the factory was in Bulgaria. I was wrong. It's India? So I don't know. It's probably not slavic.

Dragon (1.5L 3 cyl EB) is built at Chihuahua Engine Plant in Mexico, whereas the older 1.5L 4 cyl EB came from Romania to NA.
