Got a good friend I met around 7 or so years ago. He was born in New York, raised and worked his whole life in New Jersey, close to the New York border.
He always talks about egg creams and even has a machine at home to make carbonated water for him.
One day he invited me over for one and I liked it.
What's most interesting is that an egg cream contains neither egg nor cream, so you've got to wonder how it got named.

If your ever in the city Ray's candy shop is the place to go. Old school style amazing and great tasting.

I should have seen this sooner, the Egg Creme looks far better than my stop, the local track. Put in two miles of sprint/jog with my son as he gets ready for college baseball. It was not as enjoyable as that. not even close.
