Wheel torque spec fps

I'll be switching to my Winter tires soon and was wondering what the wheel spec for torque fps is on our cars.

Yep always refer to the owners manual for specs etc. Engineers design stuff purpose built.

What does M12 x 1.5 mean? I was trying to find a socket to loosen the lug nuts with so I thought it would be 12mm, but that didn't seem to fit as I would have expected.

M12 x 1.5 are the diameter and thread pitch of the studs. The nuts are 19mm.

Think about replacing the factory lug nuts with some one-piece ones. It will pay off in the long run.

We second @Mrmikes recommendation to replace the two piece factory lugs with a one piece. Here is a LINK as to why.

My only addition would be to make sure you check for you specific trim since certain wheel & tire packages may have different wheel torque specs.

Check the torque again after a week to verify the lug nuts are at spec.
