Nice new BFG All Terrain T/A on my Badlands!

I am so excited!!! Mine had the Falken Wildpeak AT3 and I loved them, but I am a sucker for raised white letter BFG tires, so I went with 245/65/17 - I have only ever had a set of raised white letter BFG one other time, a set of Radial T/A and I flat spotted one three weeks after....on my 95 Thunderbird with no ABS...

I havne't taken it out on the highway yet....but I will on Monday. I need to get the alignment fixed, Discount tire didn't have an alignment machine, which was really strange. I don't think it's too far off anyway. If around town noise levels are any indicator, I bet they're louder than the Falkens, but that's alright. I like the look too much to care about road noise.

Hard to go wrong with those tires. Are they KO2s or KO3s? Let us know how much difference in gas mileage it makes.

Update on these BFG tires - they are FANTASTIC!!! They ride nice, they are quiet, good in the raid, nice soft ride just like the Falkens. I really, really like them!!! I haven't had a chance to take them off road at all, but I bet they do great....updates to come on that. Fuel economy is the same as before, no decrease...unrelated, but my fuel economy actually increased once I replaced the ripped lower shield under the car. The torn shield was causing so much drag, that replacing it has given me back about 2 MPG

Thanks for the update. How much was the new shield if you don’t mind? What was involved with the installation?

Too bad the don’t make Tbirds anymore. I wonder what a 2025 would look like.

i bought it six months ago, seems like it was between 100-150

installed is four large torx and a bunch of nuts - super easy
