Are the wires there already, or is it just a port to run the wires?

Do the roof rails need to be remove to access the wires?

From what I understand the wires are there that go down to under the dash .There is a post on forum that shows this . I have not done roof lights as of yet just preparing . If you look closely on my picture you will see that little section by the window that can be removed , very important this is on the driver side only, I repeat DRIVER SIDE ONLY . HOPE THIS HELPS . Thanks Jim. I will take a closer look at mine over the weekend. I found the Ford manual (https://performanceparts.ford.com/download/instructionsheets/IS_M-15200K-CXR.PDF) on running the wiring, and it is a TON of work. Maybe there is an easier way.

Yes I agree , not sure why they say go toward the back , but hey it’s a start good luck. Is that a badlands you are driving ? Looks ?

There's an install manual if you get the Ford light bar that shows the purpose of that access panel. A quick glance does not show ia pre wired pack for installing a light bar. Just a way to run wires down the A pillar.

Thats the most asinine process. Really engineers wtf. Just put a harness in there. I wonder how many book hours this takes.
